Read it, I am crying like a baby.
The following letter was written by a 14 year old daughter of one of our troops who was killed when the convoy he was in was attacked with an improvised explosive device and rocket-propelled grenades in Samarra, Iraq, on October 1, 2003. It was just 17 days after he was deployed. This letter was written after he died. The soldier/father/husband in question was Command Sergeant Major Blankenbecler.
