Where I live in Pierce County they are running a sales tax increase on the ballot this year, we just got a flyer in the mail. It says "more cops, 24 hour protection". That is not true. Every one of us is responsible to protect ourselves and those that depend on us. Police are there to arrest after the law is broken, not provide protection. A shepherd protects the sheep. Its a mindset issue. Like the school girls that beat up the pervert that exposed himself. 20 girls chased him down and punched and kicking him.
