7/30/02 7:54 pm at High School camp at NC

Where is the passion in my daily walk for worship? I feel like it has been slowly crushed by a thousand different obligations. How could I be so blind? Why has my desire to worship you Lord been buried so deep? As I open my eyes I see that I have put other gods before You.

I see a vision of a generaton laying down everything that would stand between themselves and God. We have been labeled as a consumer geneneration. But God is calling us to lay down those things that are being sold to us.

Fashion - image - music - movies - TV - food - sports - friends - boyfriends - girlfriends

I am watching a 15 year old boy standing with arms raised and tears streaming down his face, worshiping the Lord God Jehovah. The last thing on his mind is what someone else is thinking about him. He wants to be as close to God as he can. And he isnt the only one. The room is filled with high schoolers doing the same thing. Singing songs of worship to God.

As I watch and join in worship I cant help but weep. I am overcome with the longing to live my life beholden to none but God. To lay down all forms of slave or surf thinking. To live in freedom. It is amazing what happens as illussions come tumbling down. I will fight with everything that is in me to live free and to free others.

I was doing a funny thing the other day, reading the constitiution of this great United States of America. Did you know that each state is required to pay off the national debt based on how many citizens reside within it? No matter what each citizen earns in wages or income. That will make you think.

Some changes will be taking place in my life. And it is going to be big.

I am still wondering how this will make sense. I know that it wont totally make sense to the world, but I am to follow God, wherever He leads me.

In an effort to distance myself from accusations of plagerism, I want to make the statement that I had not read the following article before writing my blog entry about being a man. It is kind of scary that I am tracking with Gordon so closely. I havent even listened to his tapes yet!

Forget About Quiche -- by Gordon Phillips

The Affidavit of Revocation and Rescission

"Communications received from those new to the constitutional revival movement -- and to the Save-A-Patriot Fellowship in particular -- often display various misunderstandings about the purpose of the Affidavit of Revocation and Rescission which the Fellowship makes available for the use of its members. The purpose of this essay is to explain the affidavit's use and implementation."

This is a great article. Check it out.

This weekend my wife and I went to the Scottish Highland Games. This event was huge. Now I really want a kilt. She made the comment that it really seemed to be a male dominated society. I had to think about that. I think that it would look that way because in that society everyone had to work but the protection came from the men. What woman would want to marry a wus that couldnt defend his home and family?

Braveheart Quote:
"Its our wits that make us men."

Jump to the present:
Here in America we live in relative safety and wealth. Even those that live below the poverty line ($16,700 a year) enjoy indoor plumbing, color TV, VCR, refrigerator and food. Those that go without shelter do so because they refuse to conform to a program that is availible to "get them back on their feet." But the help is available. So where are the big burly guys that you would lose your life to if you threatened their family? Where are the Men of Worth? Men that would give up the entertainment of going out to dinner and a movie to stay home and play with the kids. Men that would give their wife the freedom to stay home and manage the family without the expectation to bring in "her half" of the income.

In our society a man tends to value a woman based on what she can do for him. But God calls us to value her for the very reason that she is precious.
Sorry for the rabbit trail.

All that to say that our present men tend to be total wusses. And women end up unprotected, needing to give their children to strangers to raise while the go out and work for a boss that tries to make them feel like they don't do anything good enough. And that their value is the hourly wage they bring in. These are just some things that God is really putting on my heart. So I call out to the men, the real men, "Rise up men of Virtue!"

Who do you trust to provide for your needs? What about your desires? There is a big differance between the two.

If you put your money into your family and into your church (at least 10%) first, do you think that it could free up your wife to be a wife? Did you know that the law does not require a citizen living and working within a state of the union to pay federal income tax? Who do you fear? Why?

Rise up men, wake up from your sleep! Stand together for the sake of your family!

Speaking of standing together. As you look back on history you can see how people put aside their disagreements to stand together on what they do agree on. The Declaration of Independence is a great example. You will see these great documents. The Mayflower Compact, these men knew that covenant is what keeps us together when emotions, egos, division tryes to pull us apart.

As I look out at the Tax Honesty movement, there is a definate lack of unity.

What if there was a binding document that all of the leaders in the movement could stand together and be unified with? It could be as historical as the founding documents of our nation.

I am probably going to join SAPF, get some protection before going toe to toe with the IRS. Had a great talk with Jim Deal. Like in the battle scene of Braveheart, the all have those giant spears to keep from being run over by Heavy Cavalry. We must stand together or we will surely fall.

This is great. I might change it for my personal creed but I still love it.

THE AMERICAN'S CREED

I do not choose to be a common man. It is my right to be uncommon. I seek opportunity to develop whatever talents God gave me -- not security. I do not wish to be a kept citizen, humbled and dulled by having the state look after me. I want to take the calculated risk to dream and to build, to fail and to succeed. I refuse to barter incentive for a dole. I prefer the challenges of life rather than a guaranteed existence, the thrill of fulfillment to the stale calm of utopia. I will not trade freedom for beneficence nor my dignity for a handout. I will never cower before any earthly master nor bend to any threat. It is my heritage to stand erect, proud and unafraid, to think and act according to God's laws, enjoy the benefits of my creations, to face the world boldly and say -- "This, with Gods help, I have done". All this is what it means to be American.

Started watching Braveheart last night. What a movie! It was my instant favorite in 1995 when it came out. Over the years it has taken on several meanings. The fight against laziness, for personal discipline. The fight against spiritual strongholds, spiritual warfare.

And now, the fight against the ignorance that keeps America enslaved. I challenge you to watch that movie in light of this struggle.

The english tried to buy off the nobles with Land and hereditary Title that they would also pay duty (taxes) and swear fealty. Wallace fought for the freedom of the common man to raise his family as he sees fit under God. That is what I want to do.

Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage. - Galations 5:1

to "put on tyrany" is to spit on the graves of our forefathers.

02.07.16
For about 5 months I have been researching the subject of Social Security. I had heard that SS was not required if you objected on religious grounds. The more I thought about it the more I objected. Some friends of ours also were looking into it. They were starting a small business. The information that the got from the IRS was not helpful, it never directly answred the questions that I had.

Well 2 weeks ago I did a search on Google.com for "Tax Freedom". What came back has taken some getting used too. When it comes to conspiracy theories I dont give them much credit. Did we land on the moon? Yes. Was JFK shot by Lee Harvey Oswald? I think so. Are we actually being ruled by some super secret society like the Iluminati? No.

So why would I buy into some crazy idea about Social Security being imposed on all of America even though it is not required? So far what I have learned makes perfect sense. The only reason SS is not unconstitutional is that it is optional. Is it a masterpiece conspiracy? I think it is just ignorance and going with the flow of society.

Knowledge does not empower, knowledge put in action empowers. Knowing truth and applying truth are two very differnt things. I believe that God has called me to live in the world but not as the world. That is hard to define. I think it could take my whole lifetime to work on. Here is something, everything that I have comes from God. I choose to submit my life to God. So my family is like a company owned by God. God has placed me in authority over my family, CEO (Chief Executive Officer). My wife is the COO (Chief Operating Officer). Together we work as a family to do what God is telling us.

Today we found out that we will be having a baby. We are so excited. One thing we have agreed is that we will no apply for our baby to receive a SSN. That is a choice he/she will have to make when he/she turns 18 or moves out.

In my research, some claim that the SSN is actually the Mark of the Beast. I am not sure I agree with that but have you ever tried to live, work, buy or sell in America without it? It makes you think.

The more I read about the founding of this country and the men and women that risked their lives, the more I want to build on the freedoms that they fought for. By just going along with the flow of society I am tearing down the foundations they built. Actually the foundations are in the Bible. Our founding fathers were godly men. This country was founded on Christian principles of freedom and self government. I challenge anyone to find principles of freedom and self government in any other religion. No King but Jesus. This was the cry of the American Revolution. If that was the cry of this generation where would our country be? If we followed the teachings of Christ? I live to see that day come.

I am a man under authority. I will defend the constitution of this great land. America is still the greatest country on earth. God Bless America!

This Blog is dedicated to tracking my personal journey of trying to lay down the use of the number that I never asked for.
